个人简介:

李朝红,中山大学中山医学院组织学与胚胎学教授,医学博士,硕士/博士生导师。1997年中山医科大学博士毕业,获医学博士学位并留校任讲师;1998-2000年留学奥地利科学院老年生物医学研究所从事博士后研究;2001被邀到美国宾州州立大学Weis Center作为Scientist从事“高血压与心脏重构”研究;2004年底回中山大学工作至今,2005年受聘为教授和博士生导师。

重要学术研究成果与贡献:

长期以来一直从事心血管重构分子机制与防治研究,在高血压机械力血管重构信号转导的研究方面发现了一些重要的机械力信号通道;近期重要新发现即“高血压机械力及糖尿病AGE引起血管平滑肌细胞增殖和凋亡同时增加、加速血管重构”,为血管粥样硬化(高血压、动脉粥样硬化、移植静脉粥样硬化)发生机制及防治新策略提供了重要资料。先后在JBCCir Res.JCIATVBFASEB J, Cell Signal, J Vas Surg, PLoS ONE等杂志发表SCI论文20余篇,受国家和省多个基金资助。
