个人简介:

       细菌耐药问题一直是困扰医院临床的一大难题,“超级细菌”的不断出现更是引起公众的极大恐慌,成为全球普遍关注的公共安全问题。世界卫生组织(WHO)细菌耐药监测报告显示每年全球直接死于耐药细菌感染的人数超过100万人,并预测照此趋势到2050年死亡人数将达1000万人/年,超过癌症死亡人数。鉴于细菌耐药问题的严重性,2015年-2016年美英和我国等多国政府相继发布《遏制细菌耐药国家行动计划》,近几年二十国集团领导人峰会和联合国大会专门就细菌耐药问题发布联合公报和举行高级别会议,旨在透过全球的共同努力有效解决细菌耐药问题。 
       田国宝,博士,教授,博士生导师。国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金获得者,广东省自然科学基金杰出青年基金获得者,中山大学“百人计划”引进人才,热带病防治教育部重点实验室PI。博士毕业于四川大学,20093-201112月在美国匹兹堡大学医学院感染性疾病系从事博后研究,一直从事临床细菌耐药与感染研究,先后在Lancet Infectious DiseasesClinical Infectious Diseases等本领域国际顶尖和主流期刊上发表SCI论文40篇,通讯/第一27篇,参编专著2部,以第一发明人申请专利8项(授权2项)。作为课题负责人主持包括国家自然科学基金重点项目、优青项目、面上项目,广东省自然科学基金杰青项目、面上项目,广州市科技计划珠江新星项目等10余项;作为课题核心骨干参与包括国家传染病重大专项、国家重点研发计划等基金6项。入选国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金,广东省自然科学基金杰出青年基金,“广东特支计划”百千万工程青年拔尖人才、高等院校“千百十工程”第七批培养对象、高校基本科研业务费青年教师重点培育等人才项目。中国微生物学会医学微生物学与免疫学专委会第一届青年委员会委员,中国防痨协会青年理事会委员,中国医疗保健国际交流促进会临床微生物与感染专科分会委员,美国微生物学会ASM会员。Lancet Infectious DiseasesEmerging Infectious DiseasesAntimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy等本领域专业杂志审稿人,国家和广东省自然科学基金项目评审专家。

Personal Details

I am currently working as a Principle Investigator and a Ph.D. mentor of the Key Laboratory of Tropical Diseases Control at Zhongshan School of Medicine, Sun Yat-sen University (SYSU). Before joining the SYSU, I have been appointed as a Postdoctoral scientist at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. In 2017, I had received the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young Scholars and won the Guangdong Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. My research area is focusing on; the different mechanisms of bacterial resistance and clinical bacterial infections. In this research area, I have published over 40 articles in internationally influential journals including Lancet Infectious Diseases, Clinical Infectious Diseases, Emerging Infectious Diseases, etc. Moreover, I am a reviewer for Emerging Infectious Diseases, Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy, Journal of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy and an evaluation expert for National Natural Science Foundation of China and Guangdong Natural Science Foundation and currently; I am the principal investigator on 15 major project grants funded by regional/state bodies in China to investigate antibiotic resistance bacteria.
