研究方向：恶性疟原虫致病和传播过程的细胞结构与调控机制。主要包括疟原虫：1、特殊微管结构及功能；2、非典型有丝分裂机制；3、配子体发育及传播机制。
个人简介
李嘉虹，中山大学中山医学院副教授，博士生导师，课题组PI。本科和硕士分别毕业于兰州大学和中国科学技术大学，2023年博士毕业于澳大利亚墨尔本大学，导师为Leann Tilley。2023-2026先后在美国哈佛大学公共卫生学院和医学院，麻省总院，Broad Institute开展博士后研究工作，合作导师为Manoj T. Duraisingh，Jacob E. Lemieux, Allen Steere。2026年2月任职于中山医学院病原生物学与生物安全学系。
